Discover the ‘wild’ side of Pierrepont Farm

scflyerSign up NOW! Saturday Club for young naturalists and explorers

Thanks to the numerous explorers of the last two years who helped make the Saturday Club at Pierrepont Farm a great success, we are going to continue with our efforts for another year.

The club is tailored for children aged approximately 7-11 years old, but an enthusiastic 6 year old would not be turned away. There will be one session in the morning from 10 am – 12 pm and another identical session in the afternoon from 1.30 pm – 3.30 pm. The first two dates are: 17th March and 21st April.

All that is asked is that appropriate outdoor clothing is worn and that an adult (who usually secretly likes to join in) stays throughout the session.

Booking is essential. For more details, or to book your place, please email

What is the Saturday Safari Club?

The Saturday Club is a free event at Pierrepont Farm in Tilford and will meet once a month for a two hour session filled with awesome facts, interesting experiments and lots of fun games themed according to season. This is for anyone already interested in nature and the British countryside but also for those who feel the need to just get outside, stretch their arms and legs and maybe see or learn some new things.

The location, Pierrepont Farm, is a dairy farm owned by the Countryside Restoration Trust (CRT) and managed by farmers Michael and Beverley Clear. The CRT’s aims are to promote wildlife friendly farming and campaign for a living, working countryside. As a result of these wildlife-friendly practices, Pierrepont has a number of rich habitats including a woodland, meadow and pond. Plenty to explore!!

Initiated by Annika Rice, the farm’s Education Officer, the Saturday Club is this year lead by Franziska Loesel who is Annika’s maternity cover.
