Pierrepont Farm directions

As it is a working farm, Pierrepont is only open to the public on a few days a year, the dates of which will appear on this site when they are confirmed.

That said, a public bridle path (open to walkers, cyclists and equestrians) runs through the farmyard and there are two permissive paths open to walkers (but not cyclists and equestrians).

The farm is also happy to receive groups by appointment. Please email the farm’s Education Officer, Annika Rees, to arrange a visit: annikar@countrysiderestorationtrust.com.

For satnav users, the postcode of Pierrepont Farm is GU10 3BP. (The postcode for the farm’s postal address is GU10 3BS but this shared with another property on the other side of the River Wey. If you put 3BS into your satnav, it will take you down a very narrow lane and deposit you on the wrong side of the river, where the only crossing is a narrow footbridge — see photo below.)

A view of the narrow path and equally-narrow footbridge to negotiate if you put the wrong postcode in your satnav for The Countryside Restoration Trust's Pierrepont Farm.

Once you are between The Rural Life Centre and the Frensham Garden Centre, ignore/switch off the satnav and follow the signs to the farm, starting with the one below, otherwise your device will start sending you to one of the other businesses behind the garden centre.

Sign by the side of the road, marking the farm turn-off.

Look out for this sign which marks the turn-off for the farm. If you are coming from Tilford, it is on the left of the road, after the Rural Life Centre and about 100 metres before the garden centre. If you are coming from Millbridge, it’s on the right of the road, about 100 metres after the garden centre’s gates.

For those who don’t have — or don’t trust— satnavs, here are some directions:
